Academic Figure Drawings

Rigorous study for the better part of five years in drawing and painting the figure has left me permanently engaged with the emotion and range of experience that the human figure can convey. Cast drawing comes from my training along the methods and techniques of Charles Bargue and Jean-Léon Gérôme, a teacher from whom I am directly "descended" in the family tree of knowledge passed from teacher to student over the years.
